The students I had were very sweet. I wish I could give my overall experience 5 stars for just the positive atmosphere. However the pedicure and manicure service left me dissatisfied. The training tech was so nice, I just didn’t have the heart or time to ask her to correct it. My nails look half painted and are uneven, I didn’t rush her especially on the pedicure and I ended up with uneven filed toes and a gel paint job on one foot that is rough / scratches and sticks to my sheets. My nails I filed on the sides to take the paint off my skin before I took the photos and the gel was already cracked on two of my nails. I will say the waxing and lash portion were done wonderfully. Overall I understand they’re learning hence it still being 3 stars. Update 3 days later and almost all the lashes that were added are gone. I’ve had lash extensions on and off for over 8+ years and never have experienced this. The gel pedicure on my toes has completely fallen off and my nails cracked and peeled leaving spots where it’s adhered and others where it’s my actual nail, causing snags when trying to do my hair or changing clothes.

Brittany did such an amazing job on my 14 yr olds braids today! Yesterday we came in for my 10 yr old to get highlights and Jazmin did such a fabulous job on her too! I will come here everytime for my kids hair!

My experience with Emily Robert was PHENOMENAL. She paid attention to my wants and needs and did it with Love, Patience, AND Respect for her craft. I flew from the U.S. Virgin Islands 🇻🇮 and I heard about her skills from word of mouth, and I said that is who is going to do my hair. Emily your PHENOMENAL and I will be back for you to do my hair again.

Our Manhattan Campus
Nicknamed "The Little Apple," Manhattan, KS has been home to Bellus' newest branch, which was acquired in 2011. The 20,000 square foot facility was a former movie theater, completely renovated into a beautiful school and salon.
